The scenic valleys of Kashmir takes forms of white sheets of ice to lush green valleys depending upon season, but nothing beats the charm of the valley in the summer. It's biting cold, the sunlight and fresh mountain air feel rejuvenating and there's enough greenery around for you to appreciate the gifts of nature. An unbelievably beautiful landscape, valley of flowers, serene lakes and amazing trekking trails, Kashmir has a little of everything to offer to its visitors.

       

Incredibly Beautiful Places To Visit In Kashmir :- 

 Pahalgam 

Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination and hill station. It is also known as the "Village of Shepherds". Pahalgam is the place you experience clear water rivers and exhilarating deep valleys. This place is famous for river rafting and lidder lake ,golfing and shopping traditional Kashmiri items. In Pahalgam you must visit Baisaran, Chandanwari, Betaab valley, Aru valley


   Baisaran

Baisaran is also known as Mini Switzerland because of its long dark meadows resembling the ones in Switzerland. Baisaran is an eye catching meadow located just 5km away from Pahalgam.

Chandanwari 

Chandanwari located 15 km from Pahalgam,is the starting point of the famous Amarnath Yatra. It is also famous for the snow sledging on a snow bridge. The place is perfect to enjoy a picnic with your family and enjoy the natural beauty. 

 Betaab Valley

Betaab Valley is the Valley located 15 km from Pahalgam. previously known by the name of  Hagan Valley or Hagoon. Betaab Valley got its present name after the blockbuster Bollywood movie "Betaab" was shot there in 1983. The valley surrounded by lush green meadow, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation. 

 Aru Valley

 Aru Valley is a located at a distance of about 12km from Pahalgam. Through the village it is the smallest hill station in the state, but still its breathtaking beauty and interesting activities like trekking, hiking and horse riding make it one of the most popular tourist place to visit in Pahalgam.

Srinagar

Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The city is famous for its natural beauty, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruits. In Srinagar you must visit Dal lake, Tulip garden, Hazratbal Dargah,Gulmarg, Sonmarg.

    Dal lake

 Dal is a lake in Srinagar. Dal lake is Srinagar's jewel, a vast sheet of water reflecting the carved wooden balconies of the houseboats and the misty peaks of the Pir Panjal mountains. There is always a great deal of activity on the lake and even hosts a floating market where vendors sell their produce, directly from their boats. and Don't miss the Shikara ride on the Dal lake.


Tulip Garden

Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, previously known as Model Floriculture Centre. It is the largest Tulip Garden in Asia spread over an area of about 30 hectares. 

Hazratbal Dargah 

Hazratbal Dargah is the most important Muslim Religious place. Situated on the western shore of Dal lake. It's pristine white marble elegance is reflected in the waters of the lake.

Gulmarg

 
Gulmarg is the snow paradise of Kashmir. This 
skier's paradise
 is popular for having one of world's highest and largest ropeways with an aerial distance of approx 5 km. Gulmarg is almost 2 hours away from Srinagar. also known as the "Meadow of Flowers". Snow falls are regular even during summer. 

Sonmarg 

Sonmarg also known as"Meadow of Gold", will startle you with sudden rains and sunshine. just 3 hours away from Srinagar. Sonmarg is also one of the base points for starting the Amarnath Yatra.
